On the morning of August 20, 2024，27 government officials and business representatives from Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Panama, Uruguay, and Venezuela came to Shanghai Commercial Mediation Center (hereinafter referred to as“SCMC”) for study and exchange.

Director Wei Zhang welcomed the visitors on behalf of SCMC. Jiani Zhou, Foreign Affairs Manager of SCMC, introduced the current status and development of commercial mediation in China and other knowledge. She also shared the work SCMC has done in talent cultivation, standardization, professionalism and other aspects.

As a foreign aid training base approved by the Ministry of Commerce, SCMC has effectively established connections with  various countries through learning and exchanges with their experts and government officials, further serving high-level opening-up and building a new development pattern.
