On September 29, the ceremony of “2018 Public Welfare Award” co-sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, Shanghai Administration Bureau of NGOs, Shanghai Public Welfare New Media Center, SMG Media Center, SMG Oriental Broadcasting Center and SMG Technology Operation Center was held in the Dongshi Theater. The Shanghai Commercial Mediation Center (SCMC) was awarded the 2018  Public Welfare Award as the “Top Ten Public Welfare Organizations”.

The “Public Welfare Award”, which was born in 2017, is the first public welfare appraisal in Shanghai based on the participation of public welfare organizations. This award aims to find a public welfare model in Shanghai, create a public welfare atmosphere, highlight the public welfare force, and broaden the communication channels for the influential and exemplary Shanghai public welfare organizations, so that lead the development of public welfare in Shanghai.
